About Quality of Life Therapy Practice

I offer in-person therapy in Hagerstown and Frederick County and virtual sessions across Maryland.

My mission is to empower you to face life’s challenges, quiet self-doubt, build confidence, and move toward the version of yourself you want to be.

At Quality of Life Therapy Practice, I offer individual therapy and clinical supervision designed to help you grow, heal, and thrive. I believe everyone has strength within them—sometimes you just need the right support to see it.

At Quality of Life Therapy Practice, my vision is to create a world where individuals embrace their full potential with confidence and clarity. I'm passionate about dismantling imposter syndrome, reducing self-doubt, and helping clients recognize their inherent worth. Through compassionate, evidence-based therapy and professional support, I strive to foster resilience, self-assurance, and personal growth—so you can lead a fulfilling, authentic life.

I also believe in normalizing your experiences, validating your thoughts and emotions, and doing my part to destigmatize mental health. You deserve to be seen, supported, and empowered—without judgment.

About Candace Drummond

Hi, I’m Candace—a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C), born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I’m proud to be the first in my family to graduate from college, earning my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

My background spans forensic social work, nonprofits, community-based services, medical social work, and mental health. I’ve served as a Field Instructor and now as a board-approved clinical supervisor, mentoring new professionals in the field. I’ve been providing therapy for almost a decade and what keeps me grounded in this work is a deep passion for helping people who feel stuck, unseen, or overwhelmed—especially when life feels like too much.

You Matter!

Lately, it might feel like your mind won’t slow down. Maybe you’re constantly overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or carrying the weight of sadness or exhaustion that won’t go away. You might be going through a big change—graduating, changing careers, becoming a parent, ending a relationship—and even though you’re “doing all the right things,” it still feels like you’re barely keeping your head above water.

You might even be wondering, Why can’t I just handle this? Where do I start? What if I make a mistake?

If any of this resonates, I want you to know: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. You’re in the right place.

At Quality of Life Therapy Practice, I provide a space that’s real, honest, and built around you. Therapy here is about helping you make sense of what’s going on internally and giving you tools that actually work for your life—not a checklist or a quick fix, but real support for real change.
